Raw Food Diet Books

There are a lot of raw food diet books on the market right now.

Most of them are at best inaccurate, and at worst, dangerous.

There's so much misunderstanding about how to eat a healthy raw food diet, that it's really important to be selective and discerning about who you listen to. It's vital to look not only at the information you're reading, but where it comes from and who's saying it.

If you want to learn about weight loss, should the author of the book you read be obese or lean?

I've been an active part of the raw food movement since 2008, and I'm becoming more and more aware of what works and what doesn't work. Unfortunately, most of the raw food books promote programs that simply don't work. People who try them fail to stick to them long term, and so do their authors!

So through my filter of experience, here's the books that I think are worth your money.

Testimonials

This is one of the most beautiful little recipe books I've ever seen! The layout and the colours are so easy to 'digest,' and as a matter of a fact, so are the recipes! It's simple, yet creative and unique.

Even after 5 years as a high carb raw vegan, I came across some new recipes that I'm going to try. I love how little ingredients and equipment is used and those stunning pictures just really bring the recipes to life.

You actually managed to make this not just a recipe book but a must-have high carb raw vegan manual. Great work Josh :)

- Freelee, author of Go FRUIT Yourself and cofounder of
30 Bananas a Day

I've been going through your book & I love it. You have inspired me to eat simpler meals & to stop combining fruit with fat.

Your recipes are simple, but there are some great combinations & ideas I hadn't even thought of. I love the colorfulness of your book too.

Thank you for putting together some great tips & lots of useful info into one little book!

- Patti R., Washington D.C.

Knowing Josh personally, I would expect nothing less than Stupidly Simple Raw Food Recipes from him ;). This book is perfect for new raw fooders, low-fat/high-carb raw vegans, and kids!

There's fun and personality on every page. It's full of practical and delicious recipes that can be eaten anytime, as well as information to help you get started.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for simple, fresh, fun and easy raw food recipes!
